SAS-ATL Scholarship Program

Empowering Youth through the Scottish Arts

SAS-ATL is proud to support young individuals who are passionate about Scottish arts, including the Great Highland Bagpipes, Scottish Drumming, and Scottish dance. Our scholarship program is open to applicants up to age 30, with priority given to those 18 and under. To be eligible, applicants must reside within our membership area—a 200-mile radius of Atlanta.

Scholarships are typically awarded for summer schools and specialized programs that enhance a student’s regular private instruction. Recipients may receive up to $500 in tuition assistance, though costs such as room, board, transportation, and travel are generally not covered.

To apply, complete the form below. Minors must include parental approval, and students should have their private instructors submit an Instructor’s Recommendation Form. Applications must be submitted at least four weeks before the program start date, with best availability before May 1. Funds will be disbursed directly to the school.
